About Us
Larry spent his pre-teen and teenage years growing up overseas, giving him a unique perspective on life and diverse cultures that have fueled his curiosity and passion for creative problem-solving. Living with ADHD, Larry has learned to harness its energy as an advantage, channeling it into innovative and dynamic approaches in his work. He loves to laugh, build, and create. A big fan of dogs, he also tolerates cats—he has two goofy Labradors and a rescue cat, who he admits is pretty neat (but don’t let on that he said anything positive about the cat!).
Larry holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Substance Use Addictions from UNC Charlotte, earned in 2018. His career has been enriched by diverse roles giving him a broad base of knowledge and adaptability that enhances his counseling work. Larry brings a wealth of life experience to his counseling practice, maintaining an energetic and forward-thinking approach.
Sports have been a lifelong interest for Larry; he grew up playing soccer and baseball and now follows the Charlotte Football Club and the Washington Capitals, as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates, Baltimore Orioles, and Washington Commanders—meaning he’s well-versed in both disappointment and hope! Music is another passion that helps him unwind, with an eclectic taste that matches his open approach to life. Larry values time spent with friends and family, treasuring the meaningful connections that bring joy to his everyday life.

In his work as a counselor, Larry is committed to walking alongside his clients on their journeys. He takes pride in being a supportive guide, sharing in both the highs and the challenges. Witnessing his clients’ progress, resilience, and successes is incredibly rewarding, and he values the trust they place in him as they navigate their paths together.
Larry primarily works with individuals (adults 18+) and couples of all orientations, including LGBTQ+ and heterosexual clients, offering an inclusive and supportive environment tailored to each person’s unique needs. Clients often seek Larry’s guidance for issues such as ADHD, high-functioning Autism, communication and relationship dynamics (including both traditional and non-traditional relationships like polyamory, kink, open, and triad), healthy sexuality and intimacy development, anxiety, depression, and substance use recovery, among other areas. For concerns outside these areas, Larry encourages clients to reach out, and if he is not the best fit, he is more than happy to assist in finding a qualified counselor who can meet their needs.
